Finder is the location module of the SimX platform. The on-SIM engine captures serving-cell and neighbour measurements (CGI, NMR, optional timing advance); the platform resolves them to coordinates with a confidence score, using internal, third-party, or operator cell plans.

Cell-based location is less precise than GPS but works where GPS fails — indoors, underground, shielded, or GPS-less devices. Accuracy depends on network density, radio technology, and available cell-plan data. We scope achievable accuracy per environment before any commitment.
Finder runs inside the SimX Super Applet alongside Qmax, Dynamic IMSI, and AutoFence — its location feed also powers AutoFence geofence policy and location-aware steering.
